Baptism
Baptism is the first sacrament of initiation. Baptism is the gate to all other sacraments and is the purifying and sanctifying sacrament of rebirth. Those Baptised become a part of the worldwide church.
To have a child baptised in one of our churches, at least one parent must be Catholic and should either live within the parish of Christ The King or regularly attend Sunday Mass here.

St Francis of Assisi

Baptisms at St Francis Church usually take place on:
Saturdays at 12:00 & Sundays at 10:00 Mass
St Edward the Confessor and St Marks
Preparation is usually held once a month in the Parish Centre at St Edwards at 12:15 on Sundays. Classes run for around 45 minutes. Parents are invited to begin this process even before the birth of any child to be baptised.
